Description
Rackmount Fiber Termination Panel
The SC/UPC patch panel terminates 24 OM3 multimode fibers in a 1U 19-inch chassis. It ships populated with 24 SC/UPC duplex adapters and 24 factory-terminated pigtails. The unit suits distribution frames, equipment rooms and building backbone tie-ins.
OM3 fiber uses a 50 µm core and 125 µm cladding, which supports 10G Ethernet to 300 m and 40G to 100 m. The SC/UPC connectors use 2.5 mm ceramic ferrules with an ultra-physical-contact polish. Insertion loss stays at or below 0.30 dB, and return loss reaches 50 dB or better.
The cold-rolled steel housing measures 44 x 483 x 200 mm and fits EIA-310 19-inch racks. Four cable entry points accept loose-tube, tight-buffer and pre-terminated cables. A powder-coated finish resists corrosion, and the panel operates from -40 °C to 85 °C.
