The LC-LC UPC 20m OM3 is a duplex multimode patch cord for 850 nm and 1300 nm links. Two LC/UPC connectors terminate a 50/125 µm OM3 fiber pair over a 20 m run. Insertion loss holds at 0.3 dB or less per mated pair.
Laser-optimised OM3 glass delivers 2000 MHz·km effective modal bandwidth at 850 nm and 500 MHz·km at 1300 nm. That headroom carries 10GBASE-SR to 300 m and 40GBASE-SR4 to 100 m. Attenuation runs to 3.0 dB/km at 850 nm and 1.5 dB/km at 1300 nm.
A 2.0 mm zipcord jacket fits high-density trays and 1U enclosures. The aqua LSZH sheath identifies OM3 grade and limits toxic smoke in occupied equipment rooms. Bend radius holds at 10 mm static and 20 mm under load. Operating temperature spans -20 °C to 70 °C, and each assembly ships individually tested.
