The unit is functional and the 24-port density is great for saving rack space. However, the mounting ears were a bit of a tight squeeze in our older cabinet, had to adjust the rails slightly to get it flush. Once in, it’s solid and the fiber connections are stable. Good value for money for local networking projects if you are on a budget.

We used this Lightwave 24-port panel for a server room upgrade in Upper Hill. The LC adapters are well-aligned and the sliding tray makes it very easy to manage the splicing inside. It’s a solid 1U unit that fits perfectly in our standard rack. Definitely better quality than the generic ones we’ve seen before in the CBD.

The LW-ODF-24LC is quite decent for the price. Came fully loaded with the LC duplex adapters so we didn’t have to source them separately, which saved us time on the installation. The powder-coat finish is good, no sharp edges to cut the patch cords. Just wish the labeling strip was a bit larger for easier marking, but otherwise, it’s working well for our fiber backbone.
