The OEM 48 Port SC/UPC patch panel facilitates high-density single-mode fiber termination in enterprise networking environments. This 19-inch rack-mountable unit supports OS2 fiber infrastructure for telecommunications and data center rooms. It integrates 48 SC/UPC duplex adapters to provide 96 individual fiber connection points. The chassis utilizes a sliding tray design for easy access to internal components during installation. Each unit includes pre-installed pigtails to accelerate deployment times in the field. The pigtails feature 900μm tight-buffered jackets for enhanced durability. Engineers can perform fusion splicing directly within the internal splice trays. This eliminates the requirement for separate external splice enclosures.
