This 1U rack-mountable enclosure houses 12 LC duplex adapters to facilitate 24 individual fiber connections. It includes factory-terminated OS2 pigtails to streamline the splicing process in data centers. The chassis consists of heavy-duty cold-rolled steel for maximum physical protection of optical components. Each adapter utilizes high-precision ceramic alignment sleeves to ensure optimal core-to-core mating. This design significantly reduces signal attenuation across the network link. The internal layout includes a dedicated splice tray for organized fiber management. This tray maintains the minimum bend radius required for G.652.D compliant single-mode fibers. Network engineers can access the internal components through a sliding drawer mechanism. This feature allows for efficient maintenance without removing the unit from the rack.
