Electronic Control Unit for BD/C Compressor Systems

The compressor electronics module drives BD/C 40/60/80 compressor systems from a 12 V or 24 V DC supply. It handles compressor speed control, thermostat switching and battery protection in one housing. The board replaces a failed controller without changing the compressor.

The unit accepts an input range of 9.0 to 32 V DC, so the same board covers both nominal voltages. A built-in NTC input supports electronic thermostats, and a mechanical thermostat also connects. The controller regulates compressor speed across four modes to match cooling demand and current draw.

Battery protection settings prevent deep discharge by cutting the compressor at preset voltage thresholds. A fan output switches a 12 V condenser fan, and an error LED reports fault codes during service. Thermal protection stops operation if the PCB reaches 100°C. The BD P-housing mounts with standard screws inside fridge and freezer cabinets.
