Dual-voltage cooling for vehicles and camps

The SnoMaster SMDZ-TR42 is a 42-litre single-compartment mobile cabinet that runs from a 230 V AC wall socket or a 12/24 V DC vehicle supply. A 45 W compressor drives the refrigerant circuit across a -22 °C to 10 °C setpoint range. The cabinet ships in a white powder-coated finish with 50 mm polyurethane insulation.

Unit dimensions reach 520 mm high, 365 mm wide and 680 mm deep, measured with hinges, locks and handles fitted. Net weight is 23.5 kg and the packaged carton measures 560 x 425 x 710 mm. Rated current is 3.75 A at 12 V and 0.42 A at 220 V, so a modest auxiliary battery carries the load.

Three speed settings labelled High, Auto and Low trade pull-down speed against current draw. A selectable low-voltage cut-out at 10 V, 10.7 V or 11.8 V guards the starter battery on long unattended stops. Mini Anderson input and output plugs sit on the cabinet side.

Corner feet carry through-holes for bolting the unit to a load bed or trailer floor. Stainless steel hinges, locks and handles resist corrosion on coastal routes. An internal LED lamp and a lid-open alarm cover night handling, and the manual specifies 150 mm clearance on all sides.
