Description
Duplex Single-Mode Jumper for Rack and ODF Links
The OS2 SC patch cord terminates two 9/125 µm single-mode fibers with SC/UPC plugs at both ends. The UPC polish holds return loss at 55 dB or better, and insertion loss stays at or below 0.3 dB per mated pair. Each assembly ships individually tested with a loss report.
A 2.0 mm zipcord jacket carries the fiber pair through trays, cabinets and 1U enclosures. Laser-optimized OS2 glass covers 1260 to 1625 nm, so CWDM channels and 1310/1550 nm optics run on the same lead. Attenuation holds at or below 0.38 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.25 dB/km at 1550 nm.
Zirconia ceramic ferrules keep alignment stable through 1000 mating cycles. The LSZH sheath limits smoke and toxic fumes in enclosed rooms, and the yellow jacket identifies a single-mode run at a glance. Loaded bend radius sits at 10 mm for tight cabinet routing.
