The SC-SC APC OM3 patch cord is a 3 m duplex assembly with angled-physical-contact connectors at both ends. Two 50/125 µm OM3 fibers run inside a 2.0 mm zipcord jacket. APC end faces hold return loss at 35 dB or better and keep insertion loss at or below 0.3 dB per mated pair.
OM3 glass supports 10G Ethernet to 300 m and 40G to 100 m at 850 nm. The 3 m length suits rack-to-rack links, cabinet-to-cabinet patching and top-of-rack to server connections. Zirconia ceramic ferrules maintain alignment through repeated mating cycles.
The LSZH jacket limits smoke and halogen output in enclosed rooms. Aqua colouring identifies OM3 multimode fiber, and the 2.0 mm diameter fits high-density trays. Bend radius holds at 10 mm under load, and operating temperature spans -20 °C to 70 °C for indoor cabinets.
