Description
Mixed-Connector Single Mode Jumper
The SC LC OS2 patch lead joins an SC/UPC port to an LC/UPC port across a 2m duplex run. Two 9/125µm fibers sit inside a zipcord jacket, and yellow LSZH sheathing marks the OS2 grade. Each end carries a different connector style, so the cord bridges legacy SC panels and high-density LC equipment.
G.657.A2 bend-insensitive glass carries 1260nm to 1625nm traffic and supports 100G lanes over short spans. The 2.0mm duplex cord splits into two 900µm buffered fibers under a common jacket. Minimum bend radius holds at 10mm under load, which suits tight cabinet routing and shallow cable managers.
UPC ferrules use zirconia ceramic with a domed endface. Insertion loss stays at or below 0.3 dB per mated pair, and return loss reaches 55 dB or better. LC latches and SC push-pull housings release without tools, which speeds moves and changes on loaded panels.
LSZH compound meets IEC 60332-1-2 flame propagation limits and restricts halogen release in occupied rooms. Operating range spans -20 to 70°C, and storage spans -40 to 85°C. Each assembly is tested for attenuation to IEC 61300-3-4 and for reflectance to IEC 61300-3-6 before packing.
