Description
80mm Direct Thermal POS Receipt Printer
The XPrinter XP-Q80A is an 80 mm direct thermal receipt printer built for POS checkout lanes. It prints at 230 mm/s with 203 dpi resolution and needs no ink, toner or ribbon. Paper loads through a drop-in mechanism, and the partial auto cutter separates each receipt.
The print head covers a 72 mm print width at 576 dots per line. An input buffer of 96 KB handles USB and serial jobs, while LAN-equipped units carry 256 KB for queued network traffic. Non-volatile flash storage of 256 KB retains logos and configuration data across power cycles.
USB 2.0, RS-232 serial and Ethernet LAN interfaces cover both direct PC attachment and shared network printing. A DC 24V/2.5A adapter powers the unit, and a dedicated cash drawer port switches DC 24V/1A. The 0.76 kg chassis measures 157.5 x 125 x 123.5 mm and supports wall mounting.

Why Choose This Receipt Printer
Thermal printing removes cartridge replacement and the recurring consumable line item from the POS budget.
A 230 mm/s throughput keeps queue time short during peak trading hours.
Three physical interfaces let one SKU serve counter PCs, serial terminals and networked lanes.
ESC/POS command compatibility limits integration work with existing retail and hospitality software.
Wall-mount capability frees counter space where footprint matters.

We run a busy cafe and this printer has kept up with the rush. Delivery was quick and it was well packaged. The USB option made it easy to connect to our POS without any extra drivers hassle. One year warranty is a nice reassurance for a machine that works all day.

Fast and quiet. The direct thermal printing is sharp and the 2D barcode support has been useful for our loyalty receipts.

Good receipt printer. No ink to worry about, which is a relief. Serial connection worked with our older POS terminal. Only issue is the paper loading took me a minute to figure out.

Set this up at our shop in town and it has been printing receipts non-stop. The LAN port means all the tills can share it without wires running across the counter. Barcode printing works well for our stock labels too.
