Description

80mm Direct Thermal POS Output

The XPrinter XP-E200L receipt printer combines an 80mm direct thermal engine with a 200 mm/s print speed for point-of-sale work. It requires no ink ribbon, toner cartridge or fuser assembly.

The print head resolves 203 DPI across a 72mm default width. Command adjustment widens output to 76mm or 80mm and narrows it to 64mm, 52mm or 48mm for smaller rolls. Line spacing sits at 3.75mm and stays command adjustable.

Connectivity covers USB, Ethernet and RS-232 serial on the LAN variant. The chassis accepts 79.5 ± 0.5mm paper, holds a 128 KB input buffer and 256 KB NV flash, and carries a partial auto cutter rated for 1.5 million cuts.

Key Features

  • Direct Thermal Engine
A heated print head images thermal paper directly, removing consumable replacement cycles from daily operation.

  • 203 DPI Print Head
The head prints at 203 DPI with a rated life of 150 km, which suits continuous counter duty.

  • Triple Interface Set

    • USB 2.0 for host terminal connection
    • Ethernet LAN for shared network queueing
    • RS-232 serial for legacy POS controllers and OPOS drivers
  • 1D and 2D Barcode Support
    The firmware covers UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-13, EAN-8, CODE39, ITF, CODABAR, CODE93, CODE128, QR Code and PDF417.

  • Partial Auto Cutter
A guillotine cutter separates each slip and holds a service rating of 1.5 million cuts.

  • Cash Drawer Port
A dedicated RJ-11 output supplies DC 24V/1A trigger power for an attached till.

  1. Dennis Otieno (verified owner) –

Thermal printing means no more buying ink, which is a relief for a small kiosk like mine. Works well with my POS app.

  2. Esther Wanjiru (verified owner) –

Bought this for our restaurant and it has been reliable from day one. The 80mm receipts are neat, the print speed keeps up with the lunch rush, and having USB, serial and LAN options meant we could set it up whichever way suited our counter. The one-year warranty also gave us peace of mind.

  3. Joseph Mwangi (verified owner) –

Solid build and the USB connection is plug-and-play with our POS. Been running a few weeks now without a single jam.

  4. Halima Abdalla (verified owner) –

We use it at the pharmacy and it handles 1D and 2D barcodes on our receipts well. Only reason I’m not giving five is that the paper feed is a bit noisy, but it’s not a dealbreaker.

  5. Samuel Kiprotich (verified owner) –

Arrived quickly and was printing within minutes. Good little unit for a busy counter.

  6. Grace Nyambura (verified owner) –

Serial port worked straight away with our old POS software, which was my main worry. Barcode printing for stock labels is sharp too.

  7. Kevin Mutua (verified owner) –

No ink or toner to worry about, so running costs are low. Receipts come out clear and fast even during rush hour at the shop.

  8. Mercy Achieng (verified owner) –

The LAN port is a lifesaver for our supermarket till — several cashiers print to it over the network without cables running everywhere.
