Duplex Multimode Jumper for 10G and 40G Links
The OM3 LC patch cord terminates two 50/125 µm multimode fibers with LC/UPC plugs at both ends. The UPC polish holds return loss at 35 dB or better, and insertion loss stays at or below 0.3 dB per mated pair. Each assembly ships individually tested with a loss report.
A 2.0 mm zipcord jacket carries the fiber pair through high-density trays and 1U enclosures. OM3 glass supports 10G Ethernet to 300 m and 40G to 100 m at 850 nm. Attenuation holds at or below 3.0 dB/km at 850 nm and 1.0 dB/km at 1300 nm across the operating band.
Zirconia ceramic ferrules keep alignment stable through 1000 mating cycles. The LSZH sheath limits smoke and toxic fumes in enclosed rooms, and the aqua jacket identifies OM3 fiber at a glance. Loaded bend radius sits at 10 mm for tight cabinet routing, with operating temperature spanning -20 °C to 70 °C.
