Roof Rack Water Storage for Overland Travel

The Front Runner WTAN030 carries 42 litres of water on a Slimline II roof rack or load bar set. It ships with a mounting bracket, strap and hose kit for a gravity-fed tap. The tank suits extended trips where cabin space is reserved for passengers and gear.

The body is moulded from food-grade, BPA-free polyethylene. External dimensions measure 515 mm long, 343 mm wide and 345 mm high with the strap fitted. The complete assembly weighs 5.8 kg when empty. A 1/2 inch BSP threaded fitting accepts the supplied tap or any standard 1/2 inch accessory.

The black powder-coated 3CR12 stainless steel bracket clamps to the rack sides and stabilises the tank during corrugated-road travel. Mounting away from the rack sides, either parallel or perpendicular to the slats, requires optional brackets sold separately. The hose kit includes a 12 mm clear hose, five clamps and three straight brass fittings.
