Description
Replacement control board for ZBC-15 ice makers
The SnoMaster ZBC-15 relay board is the main control PCB for the 15 kg/24 hr counter-top bullet ice maker. It switches the compressor, fan, water pump and solenoid valve under firmware control. The board carries the fuse that protects the compressor circuit and reports fault states to the external digital panel.
The assembly runs from a 230 V / 50 Hz supply and handles the appliance’s 110 W total input power at a rated current of 1.0 A. Relay contacts on the board switch the compressor and fan loads, while separate outputs drive the water box motor and the ice-full and water-low sensor inputs.
Technicians replace the board when the compressor buzzes without starting, when the fuse opens repeatedly, or when the control panel loses lighting. The board mounts inside the stainless steel chassis behind the front panel and connects through keyed harness plugs. No firmware flashing is required after fitting a replacement.
The ZBC-15 ice maker produces 12 bullet ice cubes per cycle in three sizes (25 mm, 28 mm and 30 mm). The relay board coordinates each cycle: fill, freeze, harvest and reset. It also interprets the ice-full sensor and the add-water alert, then signals the digital display over a ribbon connector.
Spare boards ship as individual units for service stock. Each board is a direct replacement for the original part in the ZBC-15 chassis, so field engineers can restore a unit without swapping the whole appliance. Keep the board in its anti-static bag until installation.
Key Features
Compressor and fan switching
Relay outputs on the board energise the compressor and condenser fan in sequence, which protects the compressor from short cycling.Sensor input handling
- Water-level sensor input for the add-water alert
- Ice-full sensor input for cycle termination
- Thermistor input for freeze and harvest timing
Fuse-protected compressor circuit
The board carries the replaceable fuse that opens when the compressor circuit draws overcurrent.230 V / 50 Hz input stage
The board operates from the same 230 V single-phase supply as the ZBC-15 appliance.Digital panel interface
- Ribbon connector to the external control panel
- Drives the panel lighting and status indicators
- Reports fault codes to the display
Keyed harness connectors
Each output plug seats in one orientation, which prevents miswiring during field replacement.Direct chassis fit
Mounting holes align with the ZBC-15 chassis standoffs behind the front panel.

Installation note
Why Choose This Board
The control module restores compressor sequencing without replacing the complete ice maker.
Fuse protection on the board limits damage when the compressor circuit faults.
Keyed connectors shorten field replacement time and reduce wiring errors.
The spare PCB suits service stock for hospitality kitchens and bar installations.
Direct chassis fit keeps the original harness and panel in place.
