The SnoMaster 40L fridge freezer is a single-compartment AC/DC cabinet built for vehicles, campsites and off-grid kitchens. It holds 40 litres and runs from 100–240 V mains or a 12/24 V DC supply through a car or DIN socket.

A 45 W SnoMaster compressor pulls the cabinet down to -22°C and holds any setpoint up to 10°C. Rated current is 3.75 A at 12 V DC and 0.42 A at 220 V AC, which keeps the load within a typical auxiliary circuit.

60 mm cyclopentane insulation limits heat gain in high ambient conditions. The cabinet measures 520 mm high, 625 mm long and 460 mm wide, with a net weight of 24 kg. Stainless hinges, locks and handles sit on the exterior, and corner feet carry mounting holes for fixed installs.

Installation and Power Notes

Keep 150 mm of clearance around the cabinet for airflow. Mount the unit on a flat surface using the corner feet, and avoid tilting it beyond 45 degrees from upright during transit.

Run the DC lead through a fused circuit rated for the 3.75 A draw. Set the cut-out threshold to suit the battery bank; 11.8 V suits a dedicated auxiliary pack, while 10.7 V works with a shared starter battery.

The supplied transit cover shields the cabinet from dust and road debris. Removable baskets keep contents organised and reduce cold-air loss when the lid opens. A bottle opener clips to the exterior for quick access.
