Duplex Multimode Fiber Lead for 10G Short-Reach Links
The SC-LC OM3 15m links SC patch panels to LC transceiver ports across a duplex run. UPC-polished zirconia ferrules hold insertion loss at 0.25 dB or lower per mated pair. Aqua LSZH jacketing identifies the OM3 grade on sight.
Laser-optimized 50/125 µm fiber carries 850 nm and 1300 nm traffic. Maximum attenuation reaches 3.0 dB/km at 850 nm and 1.0 dB/km at 1300 nm. Overfilled launch bandwidth is 1500 MHz·km at 850 nm and 500 MHz·km at 1300 nm, so 10GBASE-SR runs reach 300 m.
The 2.0 mm zipcord splits into two 0.9 mm legs at each boot, which lets technicians set polarity. Minimum bend radius is 10 mm under load and 20 mm unloaded. Operating temperature spans -20°C to +70°C for indoor cabinets and equipment rooms.
