Universal Battery Mounting Bracket

The Front Runner battery bracket is a bolt-in mounting cradle for 105Ah deep-cycle batteries. It uses black powder-coated high-strength steel. All fitment parts ship in the carton.

The bracket accepts batteries up to 330 mm long, 175 mm wide and 240 mm high. Its own footprint measures 330 mm by 370 mm with an 80 mm depth. The assembly weighs 1.8 kg. Pre-drilled holes take standard bolts through a vehicle floor, canopy tray or drawer system base.

Front Runner builds the bracket from laser-cut and bent steel, then powder-coats it black. The coating resists scuffs and corrosion in engine bays and load bins. A formed lip traps the battery base and stops lateral movement on corrugated tracks.

Installation needs a drill, a spanner set and a torque wrench. Mark the hole positions on a flat surface, drill pilot holes and bolt the bracket down. Fit the battery, then tighten the retaining hardware to the battery manufacturer’s torque figure. Check the fasteners after the first rough section.

The universal hole pattern suits most 105Ah deep-cycle batteries from common brands. Front Runner lists the maximum envelope at 330 x 175 x 240 mm. Larger batteries need a different bracket. Check the battery datasheet before ordering.

The low 80 mm depth keeps the battery close to the mounting surface. That helps in canopies and drawer systems where headroom is limited. The bracket also works under a bonnet where the original tray has been removed. Confirm clearance to the bonnet before fitment.
