Hybrid A3 Multifunction System with Erasable Toner

The Toshiba e-STUDIO 4508LP combines conventional monochrome printing with an erasable blue toner mode in one A3 chassis. It prints and copies at 45 ppm on A4 and 22 ppm on A3. The same engine erases blue output at 17.5 ppm through the cassette path, so paper returns to the tray for reuse.

A 9-inch multi-touch colour panel drives the e-BRIDGE controller. The unit carries 4 GB of RAM and a 320 GB Toshiba Secure HDD with standard data encryption. Two 550-sheet cassettes and a 100-sheet bypass feed stock from A5R to A3 at 60-256 g/m², and maximum paper capacity reaches 3,200 sheets.

Network connectivity covers 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet and high-speed USB 2.0, with optional WLAN, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct modules. Duplex scanning runs to 73 ipm on the RADF or 240 ipm on the dual scan feeder. Warm-up takes about 26 seconds from low power mode, and the chassis measures 585 x 640 x 787 mm at roughly 73 kg.

Administrators manage the device through TopAccess and the e-BRIDGE Fleet Management System. Role-based access, LDAP, 1,000 department codes and 10,000 user codes cover accounting. Private print, IP and MAC filtering, port filtering, SSL and IPsec support harden the deployment.
