Tabard Tea Light Candle Citronella Insect Repellent 4-Hour Burn

Citronella Tea Light for Targeted Insect Control

The Tabard tea light candle is a small-format citronella candle designed for placement on tables, patios and camping surfaces. It burns for approximately four hours and releases citronella vapour to repel mosquitoes, gnats and flies. The aluminium cup measures 38 mm in diameter and 15 mm in height, which fits standard tea light holders.

The candle uses a paraffin wax base blended with natural citronella oil. A cotton wick delivers a steady flame without tunnelling when trimmed to 5 mm before each lighting. The aluminium cup contains the melt pool and prevents wax from spreading onto surfaces. Each unit weighs approximately 14 g and ships in a multi-pack carton for resale or field issue.

Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from draughts. Light the wick and allow the wax pool to reach the cup edge on the first burn. Extinguish the flame with a snuffer rather than water. Keep the unit out of reach of children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Field teams use the tea light format where larger citronella candles are impractical. The low profile fits mess tables, vehicle tailgates and tent vestibules. Because each unit burns for about four hours, a single tea light covers an evening sitting. Store unused candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the citronella content.
