Description
Roll-on mosquito and tick repellent for exposed skin
The Tabard roll-on is a liquid insect repellent applied directly to exposed skin through a ball applicator. The formula contains diethyltoluamide, known as DEET, which disrupts the olfactory receptors biting insects use to locate a host. It repels mosquitoes, gnats, sandflies, fleas and ticks.
Each bottle holds 70 ml of lotion in a compact roll-on format. The applicator delivers a controlled film without overspray, aerosol propellant or airborne mist. The bottle fits a jacket pocket, glovebox or day pack. A screw cap seals the ball between uses and limits leakage in a bag.
Apply a light, even layer to exposed skin before going outdoors. Spread the liquid across arms, legs and neck, and keep it away from the eyes, mouth and broken skin. Reapply after sweating, swimming or extended time outside. The formula leaves an invisible film rather than a visible residue.
The roll-on suits game drives, camping, hiking, fishing and evening work in the garden. It also covers indoor use where mosquitoes enter through open windows. Store the bottle below 25 degrees Celsius and out of direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and use it externally only.
DEET attacks plastic, leather, synthetic fabrics and varnished or polished surfaces. Apply the repellent with bare hands, then wash them before touching watch straps, sunglasses frames or vehicle trim. Avoid applying it near the eyes, to mucous membranes or over areas of skin flexure, because irritation and blistering can occur.
Discontinue use if a rash develops. Repeated excessive application on children should be avoided. The product is registered as a Schedule 0 medicine in South Africa and manufactured under Medicines Control Council accredited conditions. Confirm personal sensitivity to any ingredient before first use.
