Duplex Multimode Fiber Lead for Rack and Cabinet Links
The SC-SC APC OM3 Patch is a 15 m duplex multimode assembly for 850 nm and 1300 nm links. Two SC/APC connectors terminate a 50/125 µm OM3 fiber pair. The angled polish holds return loss at 55 dB or better and keeps insertion loss under 0.3 dB per mated pair.
OM3 glass carries 1G, 10G and 40G rates across short-reach spans. The 15 m length suits rack-to-rack jumps and panel-to-switch connections. Zirconia ceramic ferrules with an 8° APC end face reduce back-reflection in high-bit-rate paths.
A 2.0 mm zipcord jacket fits high-density trays and 1U enclosures. The aqua LSZH sheath identifies OM3 multimode runs and limits smoke in enclosed cabinets. Bend radius holds at 10 mm static and 20 mm under load. Operating temperature spans -20 °C to +70 °C.
