Megamaster Origin Series 2 Burner Table Top Gas Braai – 16,000 BTU Stainless Steel

Portable Two-Burner Gas Grill

The Megamaster Origin gas braai is a compact two-burner table top unit built for balconies, campsites and load beds. It pairs a 201-grade stainless steel grid with two stainless steel burners and flame tamers. Total heat output reaches 16,000 BTU, spread across a 1289 cm² cooking area.

The body measures 515 mm long, 512 mm wide and 403 mm high, and the unit weighs 8.3 kg. The cooking grid alone runs 350 x 330 mm. Foldable legs collapse against the base, and a lockable lid secures the firebox in transit. A stainless steel control panel carries the burner knobs, and a push-and-turn ignition lights each burner without matches.

The unit runs from a 9 kg LPG cylinder through the supplied hose and regulator. The cylinder itself is not included. A removable grease tray slides out from the base for cleaning, and the flame tamers sit above the burners to spread heat evenly and reduce flare-ups. The stainless body resists corrosion on coastal trips and after rain.

The manufacturer backs the unit with a one-year warranty and six months on parts. Megamaster supports the range with spare burners, grids and regulators, so a worn component does not scrap the whole appliance. Cool the firebox fully before closing the lid, and store the unit under cover with the regulator disconnected.
