Five-Burner Patio Gas Grill

The Megamaster Onyx 5 Burner is a cart-mounted patio gas braai with five stainless steel main burners rated at 50,000 BTU combined. A separate 12,000 BTU side burner handles pots, sauces and side dishes. The unit runs on a standard 9 kg LPG cylinder stored inside the cart.

Primary cooking area measures 4004.90 cm² across two cast iron grids sized 74 x 42 cm. An enamel-coated warming rack adds upper-level holding space above the main grate. A built-in thermostat in the lid lets the operator monitor chamber temperature with the lid closed.

The chassis measures 1322 x 635 x 1187 mm and weighs 44.8 kg. Two cart doors enclose the gas cylinder, and two side tables plus accessory hooks extend the work surface. Electronic ignition lights the burners without a match.

Site the braai on level ground and lock the castors before cooking. Connect the regulator to the cylinder and leak-test the hose joint with soapy water. Open the lid before ignition, then turn a burner to the high position and press the igniter. Close the lid only after the flame stabilises.
