Description
Managed Gigabit PoE+ Access Switch
The Huawei S310-24P4S is a 1U L2+ managed switch for campus access and small aggregation. It pairs 24 Gigabit PoE+ downlinks with four fibre uplinks and a 400 W power budget. Static routing and 4K VLAN support separate guest, voice, and CCTV traffic on one box.
Each of the 24 RJ45 ports negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and delivers up to 30 W under IEEE 802.3at. The switch detects the powered-device class before it applies power, and the MODE button flips the port LEDs to PoE status. Four 1000BASE-X SFP cages accept the optical transceivers that feed the distribution layer.
A built-in AC supply accepts 100-240 V and removes the need for an external brick. Two internal fans move air from the left side to the right, and Huawei rates the unit from -5°C to 50°C. The 442 mm metal chassis fits a standard 19-inch rack at 1U and weighs 2.92 kg.
Key Features
24 Gigabit PoE+ Ports
All downlink ports auto-negotiate 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and supply up to 30 W per port.400 W Shared Power Budget
The internal AC supply feeds the full PoE load without an external injector or RPS module.Four GE SFP Uplinks
- 1000BASE-X cages for single-mode or multimode optics.
- Fibre aggregation links toward core and distribution switches.
- ERPS ring support for sub-second failover.
L2+ Software Stack
Static routing, 4K VLANs, link aggregation, and ACLs run on the V600 firmware train.iStack Stacking
Multiple units combine into one logical device with a single management address.56 Gbit/s Switching Capacity
The forwarding engine handles 42 Mpps against a 16,000-entry MAC table.Front-Panel Diagnostics
PWR, SYS, PoE, and ID indicators plus the MODE button expose power and link faults locally.Web and CLI Management
Engineers configure the unit through the RJ45 console port, web GUI, or the eKit app.

Quick start guide
Why Choose Huawei S310
One rack unit carries 24 powered Gigabit links plus four fibre uplinks, which cuts switch count in a comms room.
The shared 400 W pool sizes access points, IP phones, and cameras without per-device injectors.
Static routing keeps inter-VLAN traffic on the switch instead of pushing it back to a firewall.
Two cooling fans and a wide -5°C to 50°C range suit unairconditioned cabinets.
Console, web, and app management give on-site and remote engineers parallel configuration paths.
