Rack Anchor Points for Secure Loads

The Front Runner tie down rings mount to the T-slots on Front Runner roof racks and load bars, creating additional anchor points for straps and cargo. The set ships as a pair with two M8 eye nuts, two nylon washers and two hex bolts. Each ring slides into the rack channel and tightens by hand without tools.

The eye nut uses galvanised steel with a black powder coat that resists corrosion on exposed vehicle roofs. The ring measures 20 mm inner diameter, which accepts Stratchits, bungee cords and standard hook-ended straps. The stud plate measures 19.5 mm wide by 33.5 mm long by 5.75 mm high, and the assembled unit measures 90 x 40 x 20 mm at 0.12 kg per pair.

Installation requires no drilling on Front Runner racks. The M8 bolt slides into the top, side or bottom rail channel and the eye nut threads on by hand. The nylon washer sits between the nut and the slat to protect the powder coat and reduce loosening from vibration. Position the rings wherever a load needs a fixing point, then remove them when the rack carries other accessories.
