Roof Load Bar Kit for Double Cab Hilux

The Front Runner KRTH017 is a track-and-feet load bar kit for the Toyota Hilux Revo double cab from 2016 onward. It carries up to 100 kg spread evenly across two bars. The kit suits roof-top tents, cargo boxes and recovery boards where a full rack is overkill.

Two 1165 mm load bars use the same aluminium slat profile as Front Runner Slimline II racks. T-slots on the top and bottom faces accept standard 8 mm bolts. Two 1300 mm vehicle-specific tracks bolt to the roof gutters through four 40–50 mm foot sets. A 10 mm wind deflector trims noise at highway speed.

Materials are black epoxy powder-coated T6 aluminium for the bars and 3CR12 stainless steel for the brackets. Installed weight sits near 7 kg, and the assembly adds roughly 110 mm above the roof crown. The bars share components with Slimline II, so technicians can extend the kit into a full rack later.

Fitment covers the Hilux Revo double cab from 2016 to current. Drill-free installation uses the supplied tracks and hardware. Torque the foot bolts to the values in the fitting guide and seal the track edges with the supplied gasket. Check bolt tension after the first 500 km, then at each service interval. The limited lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects.
