Load Bed Rack for Pickups with Roll Top Covers

The Front Runner KRRT002T is a load bed rack kit that mounts a Slimline II cargo tray above a bakkie load bed fitted with a roll top cover. The tray measures 1475 mm wide by 1358 mm long and sits on four leg mounts that slot into the existing factory tracks in the cover extrusion. No drilling of the roll top is required.

The tray uses black epoxy powder-coated T6 aluminium with high-strength steel leg mounts. Installed weight is approximately 27.92 kg. The T-slots on the top and bottom of the tray slats and edge profiles accept standard 8 mm bolts, so eye bolts, tie-down rings and accessory brackets fit at any position along the deck. The Slimline II tray itself stands 50 mm tall.

The kit comprises two LASS028 pick-up roll top leg mounts and one RRSTM07 Slimline II tray. Mounting hardware and installation instructions ship in the box. Front Runner backs the rack with a limited lifetime warranty. One caveat applies to fitment: if the roll top extrusion has a 6 mm to 7 mm slot opening, a track mount stud plate is needed separately.

Shipping dimensions are 1730 mm long, 440 mm wide and 150 mm high, at a shipping weight of 28.9 kg. Confirm the roll top track width and slot size before ordering, and check that the tray does not foul the cab rear window or the cover’s travel path.
