Description
Compact USB-C to DisplayPort Converter
The Vention TCCH0 adapts a full-function USB-C port to a DisplayPort 1.2 output at up to 3840 × 2160 pixels and 60 Hz. A WTPD501 controller handles protocol conversion inside the housing. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion across repeated mating cycles.
One end carries a male USB-C plug and the other a female DisplayPort socket. The aluminium alloy and ABS shell measures 23.7 mm wide by 12.2 mm deep. Gross weight reaches 11.4 g, so the adapter hangs from the host port without strain.
DisplayPort 1.2 sustains 4K 60 Hz and falls back to 1080p or 720p on lower-bandwidth hosts. Mirror and extend modes cover presentation and dual-screen workflows. The unit needs a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and installs without drivers.
Key Features
4K at 60 Hz Output
The adapter drives 3840 × 2160 pixels at 60 Hz for smooth cursor movement and video playback.DisplayPort 1.2 Link

Why Choose the TCCH0
The 4K 60 Hz link matches the native refresh rate of most business monitors.
DisplayPort 1.2 output avoids the bandwidth ceiling of HDMI 1.4 on older laptops.
The aluminium shell and gold contacts suit hot, humid field environments.
Driver-free operation reduces setup time during desk moves and hot-desk rotations.
The 11.4 g body adds no leverage to the host port and travels in a laptop sleeve.

Bought this for our boardroom setup where the projector has a DisplayPort input and the presenter laptops are USB-C only. Has worked every session since. The strain relief at both ends looks durable enough for the amount of plugging and unplugging it takes.

Be careful if you plan to use it with a USB-C hub – mine only worked when plugged directly into the laptop port, not through the hub. The hub itself was the issue, but it’s worth checking your chain before assuming the adapter is faulty. Once connected directly, the 4K 60Hz output was stable and sharp across a full working day.

Works as advertised for 4K 60Hz on my external monitor, though you need to make sure your laptop’s USB-C port actually supports DP Alt Mode or it will not output anything. Tested on two machines and both worked fine. Compact enough to leave in the laptop bag permanently.

Solid little adapter. The grey metal finish matches my laptop and the short cable means no dangling wires on the desk.
Faith Kilonzo (verified owner) –
Plugged this into my work laptop USB-C port and it drove the 27-inch QHD monitor at 60Hz straight away, no driver install. The aluminium housing feels cool to touch even after a full day, which is more than I can say for the plastic adapter it replaced.

Ordered two, one for the office and one for home. Delivered to Eldoret within three days. Video signal is clean with no flickering on either monitor.
