Description
DVI to HDMI Signal Conversion
The Vention ECDB0 adapter converts a DVI-D source to an HDMI female output, and the same path works in reverse. It passes resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. The HDMI side conforms to version 1.4.
The male connector carries 24 pins plus one crossbar, so it mates with DVI-D dual-link and single-link ports. The unit also seats in 24+5 receptacles on the host side. Gold plating covers the contacts at both ends, and a nut-type fastener tightens onto the DVI screw locks.
The PVC shell measures 43.2 x 32.8 x 21.4 mm and weighs 0.06 kg. No driver or external power is required, because the unit passes the TMDS signal directly. DVI carries video only, so audio needs a separate cable path.
