Description
Long-Run Optical HDMI Lead
The Vention Fiber Optic HDMI carries 4K60 video over 30 metres without the signal loss that copper cables suffer. Two photoelectric conversion modules handle the electrical-to-optical change at each end.
The ALSBT supports 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz across 18 Gbps of bandwidth. Four dedicated fiber channels isolate the TMDS lanes and remove crosstalk between them. Gold-plated HDMI male connectors resist oxidation and survive repeated plugging.
A zinc alloy shell protects the conversion electronics better than aluminium. The 4.5 mm jacket bends around tight corners, and the reinforced PVC outer layer passed 10,000 bend tests. Transmission runs one way, from source to display, so installers must mark the direction before pulling.
