Ammo Box High Lid Conversion

The Tentco box lid extension raises the lid line of a standard Tentco ammo box so taller items fit inside. It adds clearance for 1.5 L bottles to stand upright. Quick-release clips join the riser to the base box without tools.

The riser moulds in the same impact-resistant plastic as the Tentco box range. Its top face accepts the original lid, and the countersunk profile keeps the water escape channels aligned. The assembled stack carries a rated load of 100 kg or more on the lid surface.

Fitting takes minutes. Release the base lid clips, seat the extension on the rim, then clip the lid onto the riser. Each clip locks with a positive click and releases with a thumb press. The ammo box itself is not included in this pack.

Fitting and Load Notes

Seat the riser squarely on the box rim before closing any clip. A skewed fit loads one corner and stresses the clip tongues. Work around the perimeter in opposite pairs until all four clips sit flush against the wall.

Distribute heavy items across the base rather than against one side wall. The 100 kg stack rating applies to a closed, evenly loaded box on level ground. Do not stand on the lid or use the stack as a step.
