Expedition-Grade Portable Refrigeration

The SnoMaster 75L fridge freezer is a single-compartment AC/DC unit for vehicles, campsites and remote sites. It holds 75 litres and runs from 230 V mains or a 12/24 V DC supply.

A 66 W SnoMaster compressor drives the cabinet across a -22°C to 10°C range. Rated current is 5.5 A at 12 V DC and 0.55 A at 220-240 V AC, with a 60 g R134a refrigerant charge.

The cabinet measures 825 mm wide, 470 mm deep and 535 mm high, with a net weight of 34 kg. 70 mm polyurethane insulation limits heat gain in high ambient temperatures.

Installation and Power Notes

Keep 150 mm of clearance around the cabinet for airflow. Mount the unit on a flat surface using the corner feet, and avoid tilting it beyond 45 degrees from upright during transit.

Run the DC lead through a fused circuit rated for the 5.5 A draw. Set the cut-out threshold to suit the battery bank; 11.8 V suits a dedicated auxiliary pack, while 10.7 V works with a shared starter battery.

Secure input and output plugs accept solar and auxiliary DC feeds. The single compartment covers both chilled and frozen duty without a divider, and the 220 V adapter handles mains hookups at base camp.
