Description
Duplex Multimode Fiber Assembly
The SC APC OM3 10m patch cord links two SC/APC ports across a ten-metre duplex multimode run. Two 50/125µm fibers sit inside an aqua zipcord jacket. APC ferrules seat at an 8° angle to suppress back reflection at the connector interface.
OM3 glass carries 10G Ethernet to 300m and 40G or 100G to 100m with SR optics. The 2.0mm duplex cord splits into two 900µm buffered fibers. Minimum bend radius holds at 10mm under load. SC push-pull housings release by hand, which protects ferrules on loaded panels.
Zirconia ceramic ferrules with APC polish hold insertion loss at ≤0.3 dB per mated pair. Return loss reaches ≥60 dB for multimode APC. The LSZH jacket meets IEC 60332-1-2 and limits halogen release in enclosed cabinets. Operating range spans -20°C to 70°C, and storage spans -40°C to 85°C.
