Description
Multimode Duplex Jumper for 10G Links
The OM3 SC LC patch cord is a 5-metre duplex multimode assembly that connects SC/UPC and LC/UPC interfaces. It uses 50/125 µm OM3 fibre with a laser-optimised core for 10 Gb/s transmission over 300 metres. Aqua LSZH jacketing identifies the multimode grade and limits smoke emission.
Each connector uses a ceramic ferrule with UPC polish. Maximum insertion loss reaches 0.15 dB per connector, and minimum return loss measures 35 dB. The 1.8 mm twin-fibre zip cord carries aramid strength members and a low-smoke zero-halogen outer jacket.
Typical deployment links SFP+ transceivers, patch panels and switches inside data centres and campus cabinets. The cord operates from -20 °C to 70 °C and meets IEC 61753-1 and TIA-568 polarity requirements. Factory termination removes field polishing from the installation schedule.
