Description
5 GHz Outdoor Omni Access Point
The Mikrotik OmniTIK 5 ac is a dual-chain 5 GHz outdoor access point with five Gigabit Ethernet ports and 802.11ac support. Two integrated 7.5 dBi omni antennas cover 360 degrees from a single IP54 housing. The unit ships with RouterOS Level 4 preinstalled.
The QCA9557 processor runs at 720 MHz alongside 128 MB of RAM and 16 MB of NAND flash. A QCA9892 radio drives two spatial streams to 867 Mbit/s PHY rate. Five 10/100/1000 ports connect through a QCA8337 switch chip, and one USB Type-A port delivers up to 1A.
Port one accepts passive PoE across a 12 to 57 V range, and maximum consumption sits at 14 W. The pole mount kit ships in the box. Tested ambient temperature spans -40°C to 70°C, and the chassis holds CE, FCC, IC, EAC and RoHS approvals.
Key Features
- Dual-Chain 802.11ac Radio
The 5 GHz chain pair reaches 867 Mbit/s and stays backward compatible with 802.11a/n client CPEs. - Integrated 7.5 dBi Omni Antennas
Two built-in radiators provide full 360-degree horizontal coverage without external coax runs. - Five Gigabit Ethernet Ports
The QCA8337 switch chip links five 10/100/1000 interfaces for backhaul, CPE drops and local devices. - Flexible Power Input
- Passive PoE on port one, 12 to 57 V DC
- 14 W maximum power draw under full load
- Single DC input with passive cooling, no fan
- Weatherproof IP54 Chassis
The sealed outdoor enclosure measures 416 x 129 x 58 mm and mounts directly to a pole. - RouterOS Level 4
Routing, bridging, firewall, queues and wireless management run on the licensed RouterOS build. - USB Type-A Peripheral Port
The 1A USB slot supports power reset and attaches storage or cellular modems.
