The Grandstream GWN7630LR Access Point provides high-performance wireless coverage for medium-to-high density environments. This 802.11ac Wave 2 device utilizes 4×4:4 MU-MIMO technology to deliver aggregate throughput up to 2.33 Gbps. It supports more than 200 concurrent client devices. The radio hardware operates on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands simultaneously. Dual Gigabit ports include support for PoE and PoE+ power input. Internal controllers manage up to 30 local GWN series units without external hardware. Administrators can also utilize the manufacturer’s cloud or on-premise management platforms for large-scale deployments. Consequently, IT teams can monitor global networks from a centralized dashboard. This long-range wireless station offers high-speed connectivity for demanding external applications.

The performance is 5-star but I’m giving it 3 because the mounting bracket is a bit stiff to adjust once you’ve bolted it to the pole. Also, just a heads up for buyers—this unit does not come with a PoE injector in the box, so you have to buy one separately or have a PoE+ switch ready. Once powered up though, the throughput is excellent and the Wave 2 support is perfect for our modern devices.
