12V 18Ah Sealed Lead-Acid Backup Cell
The Lightwave 18AH battery is a 12 V, 18 Ah sealed maintenance-free unit built for UPS and standby power duties. Its VRLA AGM construction recombines gas internally and removes the need for electrolyte top-ups. The block measures 181 x 76 x 168 mm and weighs approximately 5.6 kg.
An internal resistance of 15 mΩ at full charge supports high discharge currents without excessive voltage sag. The battery carries a design life of 8 to 10 years in standby service at 25 °C. Bolt terminals of the M5 type accept standard UPS harness lugs.
The 20-hour rate defines the 18 Ah capacity, so a 0.9 A load discharges the block over that window. Cycle and float charging demand different voltage windows. Installers should set the charger to the standby band for UPS use and the cyclic band for solar or gate-motor duty.
