Sealed Lead-Acid Cell for Standby Power

The 12V 7Ah battery is a valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) cell using absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for maintenance-free, spill-proof operation. Six series-connected cells deliver 12 V nominal from a black ABS case measuring 151 x 65 x 94 mm. The F1 Faston tab (4.8 mm) mates with standard spade connectors in UPS systems, alarm panels and emergency lighting fixtures.

Rated capacity reaches 7 Ah at the 20-hour discharge rate. Internal resistance sits near 30 mΩ at full charge, 25°C, allowing short burst currents up to 105 A for 5 seconds during UPS transfer. The AGM separator holds electrolyte in a glass-fibre matrix, so the unit operates in any orientation without leakage. Design float life reaches 6 years at 25°C, with up to 1,000 cycles at 30% depth of discharge.

Float charging runs 13.5–13.8 V DC and equalisation charging 14.1–14.4 V DC at 25°C, both with -3 mV/cell/°C temperature compensation. Discharge temperature spans -15°C to 50°C, while storage holds from -15°C to 40°C. The black ABS housing carries a UL94 V-0 flame rating on certified versions. The cell meets IEC 60896-21/22 and BS6290-4 standards for stationary lead-acid batteries.
