The Front Runner tailgate table mounts to the interior of a rear swing door and folds down into a flat work surface for food preparation, camping chores or field repairs. It carries a 40 kg load rating and a primary tray measuring 648 x 331 mm. The design fits Jeep Wrangler JK, JKU and JL models, plus SUVs and trailers with a suitable flat mounting panel.

The main tray is formed from black powder-coated steel, sealed with the same weather-resistant finish used on Front Runner roof racks. A 12 mm laminated plywood extension slides out to add 445 mm of length, raising the usable surface to 1105 mm when fully deployed. The extension can be configured to open to the left or the right, depending on the door hinge side and the workspace layout.

Closed dimensions measure 685 x 358 x 54 mm, and the fully opened height reaches 376 mm from the mounting face. The complete assembly weighs 7.8 kg, which keeps the door load within typical hinge limits. Two sliding stays support the table in the open position and fold flat when the latch releases. Four adjustable stoppers hold the tray against the frame in transit, which limits rattle on corrugated roads.

Installation requires a flat door panel or steel surface of at least 685 x 376 mm. Drilling is required, and the kit includes all necessary hardware and fitting instructions. The table fits both left-hand and right-hand opening doors. Check the internal door structure before drilling, because the mounting screws need solid material behind the trim panel.

Use the surface for a camping stove, a laptop, tools or a cutting board. Wipe the powder-coated steel with a damp cloth and dry it after use. Clean the plywood extension with a mild cleaner and let it dry fully before sliding it back into the frame. Inspect the sliding stays and stoppers at each service interval, and tighten the mounting hardware after the first few trips.
