Bike Rack Adapter for Thru Axle Hubs

The Front Runner thru axle adapter lets a fork-mount bike carrier accept modern thru axle hubs instead of traditional quick-release forks. It fits 100 x 15 mm and 110 x 20 mm thru axles, plus 110 x 15 mm Boost hubs. The adjustable body sets the adapter at the correct angle for the fork dropout.

The adapter measures 143 mm high, 106 mm wide and 71 mm long, and weighs 400 g. It clamps onto the existing fork mount through the quick-release skewer, so no new holes are needed on the rack. The unit is designed for use with a Front Runner fork mount bike carrier and does not work as a stand-alone mount.

Installation follows a short sequence. Loosen the quick-release on the fork mount, place the adapter onto the mount, then adjust the skewer and set the adapter to the required angle. Fit the bike fork into the adapter and tighten the skewer. Remove the bike and re-check torque before travel.
