Description
Wider Roof Rack Fitment for Gutter Vehicles
The Front Runner RRAC109 leg extensions widen a Slimline II roof rack to suit vehicles with a gutter-to-gutter span between 1450 mm and 1785 mm. Two steel brackets bolt underneath the rack slats, and the existing Front Runner legs attach to the bracket ends. The pair adds reach without changing the tray itself.
Each bracket measures 290 mm long, 90 mm wide and 43 mm high. The pair weighs 3.6 kg. Front Runner builds the parts from black powder-coated steel plate and 3CR12 stainless steel, matching the finish on Slimline II trays. The kit carries two extension brackets, mounting hardware and fitting instructions.
Fitment follows the rack assembly sequence. Bolt each extension under the slats at the leg positions, then mount the leg to the outer end. The added reach moves the leg feet outward to the vehicle gutter. Check the gutter-to-gutter measurement before ordering, because vehicles outside the stated span need a different leg set.
The extensions suit vans, station wagons and light commercials where the factory roof is wider than a standard 1475 mm tray. Front Runner specifies use with its own gutter mount legs and pickup load bed legs only. Third-party rack legs will not align with the bracket hole pattern, so confirm the leg model before assembly.

Why Choose Front Runner
The extension range covers vans and wagons that sit outside standard rack widths.
Front Runner leg patterns align without adapter plates or drilling.
3CR12 stainless steel resists corrosion along the gutter contact area.
Powder coating matches the tray finish for a consistent installed look.
At 3.6 kg per pair the brackets add minimal mass to the rack assembly.
Supplied hardware and instructions shorten assembly time on a new fitment.
The brackets keep the original Slimline II tray, so existing accessories stay in service.
