Description
Indoor CAT6 U/UTP Cable for PoE Backbones
The Dahua CAT6 cable ships as a 305 m carton for structured cabling and IP camera drops. It carries four unshielded twisted pairs with a PE cross separator. The 23AWG CCA conductor measures 0.57 mm and delivers a 100Ω nominal impedance.
Each pair uses HDPE insulation at 0.21 mm minimum average thickness. A polyester rip cord runs the length of the sheath, and the PVC jacket measures 6.5 mm with a 0.5 mm wall. The orange jacket carries CE CPR Eca flame retardant certification and meets IEC 60332-1-2 for vertical fire propagation.
Electrical performance holds at 250 MHz: near-end crosstalk is 39.30 dB/100 m or better, attenuation stays under 34.8 dB/100 m, and return loss meets 17.3 dB/100 m. Single-conductor DC resistance peaks at 11.5Ω/100 m. The cable runs from -20°C to +60°C and supports PoE over a single run.
