Description
Rack-Mount Singlemode Termination Panel
The 12 port SC/UPC duplex panel terminates twelve OS2 single-mode fibres on six duplex adapters. It ships pre-loaded with colour-coded pigtails for fusion splicing in a 19-inch rack. The 1U chassis fits standard distribution frames and wall-mount cabinets.
The steel housing measures 44.5 x 485 x 285 mm and carries a sliding splice tray rated for twelve fusion splices. Protective tubes route fibres through the tray and hold bend radius above 37.5 mm. Two cable entry points accept incoming loose-tube or tight-buffered cable.
Ceramic adapter inserts deliver insertion loss of 0.2 dB or less and return loss of 50 dB or better at UPC polish. The assembly operates from -40 to +85 °C with relative humidity up to 95%. Blue adapter housings identify the single-mode UPC interface at a glance.
