Molded Housing for Electronic Assemblies

The ABS enclosure black is a 12.5 x 12.5 x 12 cm cube moulded from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. It houses printed circuit boards, power supplies, relay modules and small control assemblies. The black finish limits visible scuffing on bench and cabinet installations.

ABS delivers high impact resistance across a wide temperature band. The polymer resists dilute acids, alkalis and most household solvents. It machines and drills cleanly, so installers cut cable entries and mounting holes on site without cracking the wall. The material also accepts self-tapping screws and threaded inserts.

The cube geometry provides 1,953 cm³ of internal volume before wall thickness. That space accepts a PCB up to roughly 110 x 110 mm with clearance for standoffs and terminal blocks. Four internal bosses accept self-tapping PCB mounts, and the base sits flat on a shelf or panel.

The lid seats on a moulded lip and closes with screws at the corners. A tongue-and-groove joint limits dust ingress along the seam. The enclosure suits indoor bench equipment, DIN-rail adapters and wall-mounted control nodes. It does not carry an outdoor IP rating without additional gasket and cable gland hardware.
