Description
Dahua 4-Channel 2MP XVR
The Dahua XVR1B04 4-Channel XVR records up to four analog cameras at 2MP Full HD over coaxial BNC inputs. It accepts HDCVI, AHD, TVI, and CVBS signals so mixed legacy and current camera fleets can share one recorder. A single SATA bay supports hard drives up to 6TB for local retention without external NAS dependency.
HDMI and VGA outputs drive a local monitor for live view and playback. One RJ45 port provides IP access for remote configuration and mobile client streaming. Two USB ports support backup to flash media or connection of a USB mouse during bench setup. Two-way audio is supported on compatible camera channels when wired with audio-enabled coax or separate audio leads.
Each BNC input auto-detects the incoming protocol at connect time. Technicians can replace one camera at a time during upgrades without reconfiguring the entire recorder. HDCVI mode carries HD video and audio on the same coax when cameras support embedded sound. CVBS mode preserves compatibility with older standard-definition bullet and dome units still on site.
Recording schedules support continuous, motion, and alarm-triggered modes per channel. Bitrate settings trade storage duration against image quality on the internal SATA drive. Six terabyte capacity supports multi-week retention on four 2MP streams at moderate compression. Surveillance-grade HDDs are recommended for 24/7 write workloads.
Remote access over Ethernet enables live matrix view, timeline search, and clip export without a local operator present. Mobile clients connect through Dahua cloud or direct IP depending on network policy. Firmware updates apply through the web interface to patch security and codec improvements across deployed fleets.
