The Samsung Odyssey G7 40-inch is a 21:9 gaming display built on a 1000R curved VA panel. It renders 5120 x 2160 pixels across a 40-inch diagonal, which gives a wider horizontal span than 16:9 UHD while keeping one continuous surface for HUDs and timelines.
A 180Hz maximum refresh rate pairs with a 1ms GtG response figure and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, so frame delivery stays locked across the variable refresh window. The VA layer delivers a 3000:1 static contrast ratio, 350 cd/m² typical brightness and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification with HDR10+ Gaming tone mapping.
Connectivity covers one DisplayPort 1.4 input and two HDMI 2.1 ports, both HDCP 2.2 compliant, plus a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with one upstream and two downstream ports. An external 100-240 V adaptor draws 140 W at maximum. The height-adjustable stand travels 120 mm, and the 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern accepts arm mounting.
