49-Inch QD-OLED Gaming Display
The Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 is a 49-inch curved gaming monitor built around a Quantum Dot OLED panel. It renders 5120 x 1440 pixels across a 32:9 canvas, matching the desktop area of two 27-inch QHD screens side by side. Pixel density sits at 110 PPI.
Quantum Dot film covers 99% of the DCI range (CIE1976) and drives 1.07 billion colours. The panel holds a static contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, with 250 cd/m² typical brightness and a 200 cd/m² floor. HDR10, HDR10+ and HDR10+ Gaming metadata handling keep highlight detail intact in supported titles.
Motion runs at 240 Hz with a 0.03 ms grey-to-grey response. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync compatibility lock GPU frame delivery to the panel and remove tearing at variable rates. Connectivity covers DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, Micro HDMI 2.1 and a USB-C hub, so a console, a dock and a workstation can stay attached at once.
