Installers typically mount the disc-shaped housing on ceilings or walls and power it with 802.3af PoE from a UniFi switch or injector. Controller software provisions SSIDs, VLAN mappings, band steering, and guest portals across one or hundreds of units.
Radio planning should account for 5 GHz cell size and channel reuse. The AC Lite targets moderate client density per cell rather than stadium-grade concurrency. For backhaul, a single Gigabit Ethernet uplink matches the aggregate throughput expected from an entry AC access point.
