The Cisco CBS350 full PoE model delivers eight Gigabit PoE+ ports with full power budget allocation across every access port, plus two combo uplinks for fiber or copper backhaul. This Cisco Business 350 series switch targets SMB and mid-market networks that need Layer 3 routing, VLAN segmentation, and centralized management without Catalyst pricing. Part number CBS350-8FP-2G-UK maps to the CBS350-8FP-E-2G hardware description. It is not the CBS350-8P-E-2G variant, which provides partial PoE on fewer ports.
Each of the eight 10/100/1000 Mbps ports supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE+. Full PoE means all eight ports can supply powered devices simultaneously within the switch power budget. IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and door controllers connect on one cable for data and power. Two combo ports combine SFP and RJ45 in shared uplink pairs, giving flexibility for short copper runs to a core switch or long fiber links to an IDF.
Layer 3 capabilities include static routing and inter-VLAN routing on supported firmware, reducing dependency on an upstream router for local subnet traffic. The web GUI suits teams without deep CLI experience, while SNMP and standard management protocols support monitoring platforms.
